For The 3rd Consecutive Year With 3 Michelin Starred Restaurants 7 Stars Under One Roof

November 09, 2016 (Macau) – Grand Lisboa Hotel is pleased to announce that its two restaurants – Robuchon au Dôme and The Eight - have again been awarded the highest honor of three stars by the Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau, the most reputable and influential gastronomic publication and culinary guide.

In the ninth edition of Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau, Robuchon au Dôme and The Eight are distinguished with the highest gastronomic acclaim of three stars. Robuchon au Dôme is the first French restaurant in Hong Kong and Macau to earn the esteemed 3 stars eight years in a row, whilst The Eight is one of the three Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau to be awarded with three stars.

Within Grand Lisboa Hotel, alongside the 2 three-Michelin-starred restaurants, The Kitchen has again been awarded one star.

A Michelin-starred restaurant is evaluated by the quality of the cooking, regardless of the type of cuisine. Three stars represent “exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey”, two stars represent “excellent cooking and worth a detour”, and one star represents “a very good restaurant in its category”, according to the international rating system.
